The Pool Swim

All children (U6 - U14) will need to complete a Preliminary Skills Assessment including a swim and a float which clubs will conduct either at the beach or in a pool environment.
This is carried out before participating in any junior activity to assess their swimming and self-survival ability in the water.
This will determine whether they can progress to the water based junior activities under normal water safety supervision or they will require closer supervision. Narooma SLSC has two opportunities scheduled to complete the Pool Swim. Choose the date that suits you and be prepared to get wet! Bring your goggles and a towel plus money for entry into the pool. Yes! We will be doing registrations on these days.
Season Opener

This is an Open Day where we invite the community to join us to celebrate the start of the season. We plan to have members on hand to answer your questions, help you navigate the registration process, perform demonstrations and have our equipment on display. There will be a barbeque cooking, the bar will be open and music playing. Join us for a social catch up, bring the family and help us kick off the season.
We are looking for members who can help us host this event - can you help answer questions or do a UAV, IRB or CPR demo? Come on down - if you are a patrol member, it would be great to see lots or red and yellow uniforms, age managers - lots of red shirts!
First Sunday Session

The first week is always a little hectic so we encourage everyone to arrive early to get settled before the session begins.
Remember to wear sunscreen, bring a water bottle and towel with your name on it. Your Nippers cap and pink hi-vis singlet should be worn, if you need to purchase these items, the Uniform Shop will be open before Nippers (as well as during the season opener).
