Narooma Surf Club is located at Surf Beach, in the scenic and hilly coastal town of Narooma. Narooma, originally Nooroma, is derived from the Aboriginal word meaning ‘clear blue waters’.

The beach lies on the south side of Wagonga Heads, and runs south for 750m to a low rocky headland, which is home to Narooma Cemetery. Rocks also occur in the surf in front of the clubhouse and dominate the northern end of the beach. Access is provided by a road to the centre of the beach where the surf club is located. Little Lake backs the southern half of the beach and runs out next to the club which is popular with young kids. A caravan park lies on the north side of the lake and car parking is provided along the road up to and in front of the surf club.

Surf Beach has a safety rating of 7, (1 being the most safe and 10 being the least safe).

Narooma club colours are red, black and white.
